Dr. Johnson joined the practice in 1995 upon completion of his surgical residency training at Bellvue Hospital. He graduated cum laude from Virginia Tech University, where he was a star decathlete. He then went on to NYU College of Dentistry where, in addition to studying dentistry, he performed biomolecular research. In his residency, Dr. Johnson, performed full scope of procedures including orthognathic surgery, pathology, TMJ and reconstruction. Dr. Johnson also participated on cleft lip and palate teams in Mexico, where he had a chance to work with some of the best pediatric facial reconstructive surgeons in the world. He practices full scope office-based oral surgery with emphasis on pathology, reconstruction of jaws and dental implant surgery.
